Why subscribe instead of using spreadsheets and texts?+
Spreadsheets do not send review asks or move jobs for you. DBJ Toolbox keeps your prices, scripts, pipeline, and follow-ups in one place — on your phone or tablet at the bay, or on a desktop in the office.
Where does my subscription payment go?+
Payments are collected by HPO.Center, which develops and hosts the Detailer Toolbox platform. Subscription revenue funds ongoing development — new tools, CRM upgrades, bug fixes, and infrastructure — so subscribers receive continuous updates and improvements. Detailed by J contributes studio-grade content, pricing references, and detailing workflows inside the product.
When can I subscribe?+
Subscribe anytime once HPO.Center Stripe checkout is live on this page. Sign in, pick a plan, and pay through Stripe — charges appear from HPO.Center. If you cancel and return later, your workflow is preserved but you must clear any balance owed before access restores.
What's the difference between Tools and Toolkit + CRM?+
Tools Access ($5/mo) is bay-side reference: price book, scripts, review hub, and checklists. Toolkit + CRM ($15/mo) adds the live job pipeline — leads, customers, quotes, and finance inside Detailer Toolbox OS. Neither is the same as owning a full Studio Operations console like DBJ USA.
Is Detailer Toolbox the same as owning a CRM like DBJ USA?+
No. Toolbox subscriptions give you CRM apps inside DBJ OS on a monthly plan. To own a console the way Detailed by J runs Studio Operations — website for your original clients included, import your current clientele, no SEO in that package — email hpo@hpo.center. That path is usually about $15k, with a later upgrade around $50k for the fuller stack.
Is HPO SEO Tier 11 ($15k) a CRM dashboard?+
No. SEO Tier 11 is for local SEO authority and web development. It does not include a CRM dashboard. If you need an owned CRM console, request that separately from HPO.Center — it is a different $15k-class build from Tier 11.
Who is Professional Studio for?+
Premium detailers with multiple bays, fleet accounts, or a regional brand. It includes priority support from HPO, advanced CRM features inside Toolbox OS, and the same class of build orders we use for Detailed by J infrastructure. Owning a full white-label console is still a custom HPO request.
How does yearly billing work?+
Pay once per year through HPO.Center Stripe. Annual pricing is lower than paying month-to-month for 12 months — same features, one yearly charge, renews automatically unless you cancel.
Is this the same as Partner Academy training?+
Partner Academy is certification and video training. Detailer Toolbox is day-to-day operations software and references. Professional Studio includes a path to academy modules; training enrollment is still reviewed by the studio.
Can detailers outside Los Angeles use Detailer Toolbox?+
Yes. Detailer Toolbox is a nationwide USA cloud product on dbj-usa.com. Mobile techs and studios in any state can subscribe for CRM, finance tools, price book, and review workflows — you are not limited to the San Gabriel Valley service area.
Do I need to be a Detailed by J customer to subscribe?+
No. Detailer Toolbox is for other detailers too — independent shops, mobile operators, and multi-bay studios across the country. Detailed by J workflows inspire the product; HPO.Center hosts billing and development. Local car owners book details on detailedbyj.com.
What AI-assisted features are included?+
Practical AI-assisted ops: live price book as a pricing helper, CRM email templates (quote, ready, reschedule), one-tap Google review asks, and revenue insight views on Professional Studio. Partner Academy graduates can also use HPO.Center SEO builds for AI search visibility. Full auto-send review campaigns can be requested as a custom build — we do not invent features the app does not ship.
